Greater Mt. Olive is a church located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was flooded in the devastating floods of 2016. Pink Palace Media and D.Honore Construction were able to partner together after this event to completely rebuild the audio system at Greater Mt. Olive from the ground up.
The church is designed with a balcony 70 feet from the stage which presented the challenge of properly covering both the balcony and main floor with as few speakers and aesthetic intrusion at possible. We also rebuilt Greater Mt. Olive from the ground up by rewiring the stage floor pockets, and installing a full wireless microphone system and choir microphones. We also had the pleasure of working with ***NAME***, an organ specialist, to seamlessly blend the use of Leslie speakers with the main house speakers and subs.
RESPONSE
Our prior experience through the position of church tech directors, working with Presonus, and as audio specialist for both production houses and A/V install companies uniquely suited us to accomplish and exceed the expectation of Greater Mt. Olive. We were able to use a Worxaudio X5, which perfectly covered the room from the front row to the back of the balcony. We also utilized gear and equipment from Shure, Furman, and Presonus audio to fulfill every aspect of this install.
